you have shirts i luv it YOU GO GIRL!!!!! i have only seen the tiger stripe on i think the red rock site not on the water my lil woman and i picked up our 98 kipawa last july for 500.00 used i think we got a steal cuz we aint had nothing but a blast paddlin since we got it….just finished customizin a old shorelander boat trailer we picked up for next to nothin with a couple drill/bolted down treated 4×4’s now we need one more canoe so our friends and family can join us for some party%^*& opps i mean paddling time here on the huron river this summer….if you happen to look at the photo gallerys here on canoeing .com we also paddle with that paddle palooza gang (sister and BIL) wild bunch they are lol in indian river mi on the sturgeon and the newy tried by us pigeon river I just freekin love canoeing since we finaly got ours last year…hope yall have a great and safe 2008 season there paddletramp:cool:

woodtick thanks for the reply!!! too funny about the son in law yup i can imagin hehe, well after you say that i’d better look at a portage pack before buying unless i do go with a basket style the plywood and back rubbin doesnt sound like a good deal if im mostly carrying rattlin antlers,all day long hunting nessesities and such( thermos, food, xxl coveralls,and if way back in the michigamme resevour cedar swamps too far a whole bunch of venison parts:eek:
boy maybe i better shell out the funds for that badlands 4500!?!?
well i have time to figure out what im gonna end up doing i do know my old pack strap army duffle bag has seen better dayz…and not been to ruff on the old back…oh but them them darn use-less shoulder straps…

😀 pk you have a way of words and i picked up what yah laid down on that touchy subject lol…so our kip is as great as it feels,thats good to know or at least hear from you i still can’t believe we got it for 500.00…also good to hear we can stick with another composite gotta luv the weight issue,its so much better on my back!!!!
boy now we’ll just loan out the kip for friends and family and get us a new kick it around the corners faster than a cup car composite canoe!!!! im feeling the wallet gettin lighter the more we chat here about canoes pk but what the heck i might as well go down river in style!!!
hmmmm now im wondering should i keep with a brand im happy with, swift say a new one in guide fusion/or go with that cool looking paw print and get a sweet new one in blackgold???? im tellin yall there are just way too many brands and models out there to choose from:confused:

sounds like yall had a great day on the kayzoo,lisa and i did the upper huron from wixom rd to proud lake dam and back YES SIR i was happy to see that the canoes out there doubled the kayakers for once!!!!! and with the weather last weekend the ladies were all dressed properly:D for there last blast of fun in the sun!!!
Now PK back to reality for me I just wanna thank you for bein one of the few who always has a answer for my canoeing questions!!!! I jumped on canoeing.com this morning all fired up to read what i have missed this week of bein back to work figuring i’d get some more knowledge, have to back paddle my way out of the bears pounding my packers or something of interest and it just isnt so???? but then again i stopped at a local big name book store to check into some more canoeing books and NOT ONE in stock a whole dam section on gay and lesbian’s!!!! boy oh boy did i give it to the lady at the information desk (big time) lol just short of a 911 call:D probably yeh i think i tipped her skirt the wrong way but i felt better about my new interest in canoes and the future of the world… hehe
anyways pk lisa and i are i the market for a royalex rocky shallow mi river canoe for next year do you have any thoughts on those bell morningstars or tandem yellowstones 15’6″ oh nd the rei has a penobscot 16rx on sale right now??? so if you and the others have any suggestions on what might make a great second canoe for us were all ears!!!!

why thats a SHARP hat hillbilly… i have one sumptin like that….always wear it when im twangin on my gibson hummingbird…and im hear to tell you if yah like good ol hillbilly music hank williams sr’z grandson HANK III is awesome…. pick up his 06 CD “straight to hell” and you’ll be knee slappin for life!!!!! just don’t get the edited version cuz its missing too many songs….

hey PK last sunday (we only had a few hours out there) but we put are canoe in pickeral lake and paddled around up a creek to crooked lake, grilled lunch at the boat launch,really enjoyed it thanks for the tip!!!

i’ve never tried that method and if it works THAT WOULD BE GREAT, last night lisa and i went out paddling island lake area and the mosquitos were thick as all get out (mid 80’s in michigan in october aint right!!) and we just poured on the deep woods OFF and i hate that stuff but it works…now if i could keep’m off my ankles with a shot around my hat why i’d owe you big time…..
