I’m looking to purchase a Pelican canoe pretty soon…im thinking about the 15’6″ one…i believe its called the dakota? Anyways, i noticed the explorer model had backrest built in to the seats…i called pelican and they said that type isnt offered for the dakota. My question is this…are there any aftermarket seats out there besides the plastic looking stadium seat option that offer good support and fit my model of canoe? Im 300lbs and 6’4″…any links would be appreciated because i cant seem to find a site with many options yet.
