I just bought my first canoe from a friend of mine.  There’s no markings on it and no tags.  I’m planning on refinishing all the wood and the torn cane seat.  I’d like to know a little bit more about this boat.  I don’t even know what material the hull is.  Maybe fiberglass?  It appears to need a little repair on the keels as well.  Here’s an album.  https://imgur.com/a/qO3Fw

Can not positively identify the manufacturer from the photos— it could be a Mad River canoe. But can tell you the hull of this canoe is fiberglass and it looks like it does need some repairs. Start here: https://canoeing.com/canoes/canoerepair/

And you may want to contact Northwest Canoe in St Paul, http://www.northwestcanoe.com
they may be able to identify the manufacturer.

Hi, the manufacturer is difficult to identify by the inverted canoe. I recently bought a surfboard from Easy Surf Shop https://easy-surfshop.com/ , there are corresponding markings that allow you to identify the manufacturer. It’s hard to tell from a piece of lacquered wood.
