The Trip Logs section is live! So far we’ve received some great stories — thanks to everyone who has submitted, and keep ’em coming! Check out the growing list of trip stories:

A little hard on the eyes though. Would be easier to read if the font was a wee bit larger and the columns weren’t so narrow. Too much REM 😮 Seems like when your eyes have to dart back and forth so rapidly you don’t savor the story and you begin to skim through it. JMO, FWIW.
After submitting my log of the Allagash I sent a list links to go with the log. they didn’t get added so I’ll out themout here.
For maps we used Maps #12 and 13 from the Northern Forest Canoe Trail
For river discriptions we use Gil Gilpatrick’s ‘The Allagash Guide’ and the expanded book ‘Allagash’ that also include the logg’n history of the area.

Thanks for accepting our trip log. The boys in the troop are very excited about it. If possible could you add that Daniel T. Brown is the author of the log. He’s a good friend and deserves all the credit for the log. Thanks kipawakurt
