The Kettle River Paddle Festival is just weeks away. (April 29- May 1)
This is a great event for whitewater canoeist and anyone who has dreamed of whitewater canoeing. The Kettle River is designated as a “wild and scenic” river. The river has miles and miles of beautiful flat-water paddling and a couple miles of class II-III whitewater.
Anyone interested in the sport of whitewater canoeing should visit the paddling festival, check the web site for event schedule.

Here’s another great reason to check out he Kettle River Paddle Festival-
Mohawk Canoes will have a trailer full of demo canoes to test float.

Try them on the flat water or try paddling them on the whitewater of the Kettle River. Mohawk makes a great canoe, and here’s a chance to judge for yourself.
    Also,
Be sure to stick around for the evening activities. We’ve got the National Paddling Film Festival Roadshow and some sweet door prizes including a Mitchell whitewater paddle and paddle made by the Sanborn Canoe Company

hope to see you on the river,
    Tony
