The shallow arch design provides exceptional stability and handles whitewater with ease. The Tripper 172 is a forgiving canoe and regarded by many as the best tandem wilderness tripping canoe available.
the 13 ft. Old Town Next canoe incorporates both canoe and kayak characteristics to deliver a fun, easy and natural solo paddling experience.
A solo canoe is good for the soul. Lakes, rivers or rapids, the NW Solo will lift your spirits every trip on the water. Bring your dog and share the adventure.
Rivers flow exhilaratingly fast and soulfully slow. Paddlers often encounter both experiences on the same river a few hours apart. The only Northstar solo canoe with symmetrical rocker, the Phoenix offers an uncompromising hull design to deftly handle any water conditions, flat or fast.
The best of both worlds, a decked canoe and a kayak with an open cockpit. The large cockpit allows easy entry and loading while decreasing windage. With the hull shape of the Magic you’ll be able to cruise big water.
A do everything canoe with a performance oriented hull for those who want to paddle everywhere from lakes to rivers. It’s a smaller sibling to our very popular Northwind Solo.

Extremely lightweight for impulsive paddles, never a struggle to load this boat on the car. Sitting low in the water, feel free to use your kayak paddle. Your heavy kayaks will collect dust in the garage.

The Mohawk Intrepids are dry, high volume canoes, with slightly arched and moderately-rockered bottoms, they are the most versatile of our canoes. Very stable and dry, they are at home running whitewater rivers or carrying fisherman to their favorite fishing spot. Because of their roomy, full volume, flared ends with extra reinforcing, the Mohawk Intrepids are a good choice when the canoe will be used in both flat and whitewater.
The Heron is a compact, maneuverable tandem canoe that answers all requests. It's the smallest tandem canoe in our General Touring family. Inexperienced paddlers like its stability, while adept paddlers appreciate its efficiency. Because of it's smaller size, the Heron is a practical boat for day trips on lake, while also performing well on smaller rivers and streams. Keep one at the cabin for the kids, or keep one for leisurely float trips down your favorite trout stream.
Our version is based on the Chestnut original with some improvements to increase speed and sea worthiness. It is ideally suited as a tandem day-tripper yet large enough for a weekend canoe trip. It really shines when paddled solo by a competent paddler. The Bob has a unique blend of characteristics that produce a canoe novice paddlers can enjoy yet experts can savour.
