The Mohawk Viper 12 has excellent primary stability as well as good secondary stability. However, the Mohawk Viper 12’s edge (sharper, less curvaceous chine) can catch cross currents and eddies and flip the paddler who has not mastered riding the edge.

The Mohawk Probe 12 still has great secondary stability due to the flared center-section.
