The Northwest Wilderness Quest

Camp in each of three parks and enter to win a Souris River Canoe or handcrafted canoe paddle!

Need a reason to visit some of the most beautiful canoe country in the world? Want a chance to win one of the best wilderness tripping canoes on the market? You have three years to complete your mission:

Go camping in each of three popular parks — Quetico, Wabakimi and Woodland Caribou Provincial Parks, for a minimum of 3 consecutive nights per park.

Then, complete the entry form on the Ontario Parks web site (you’ll need to enter the park permit information for your trip) and you will be entered to win an ultralight Kevlar canoe from Souris River, or a custom canoe paddle from XY Company, hand-crafted by legendary paddle makers Don and Spencer Meany.

The Quest begins May 1, 2016 and runs until October 15, 2019. The prizes will be drawn at random from the entrants who’ve successfully completed their quests. You have to be 21 years or older to qualify for the prize drawing, however, participants that are under age 21 get a souvenir check out the full contest rules here >
