Lizard Creek Fort Dodge, Iowa Whitewater Paddling
We will put in at either Hwy P29 (Lentsch Access) which will require 13.6 miles of paddling or P41 (Rasch Access) which will shorten the trip to less than six miles. The upper stretches of this paddle include several very nice riffles and small drops. The last couple of miles include the Gypsum Miles Rapids (Class I-II), a boulder field and another Class I drop through a breached low head dam before arriving at Phinney Park.

Gig Harbor Paddlers Cup and Expo
The Gig Harbor Paddlers Cup, held at scenic Skansie Brothers Park, is the premiere event for Pacific Northwest canoe, kayak, paddleboard and outrigger athletes and enthusiasts alike. Maine Canoe Symposium
Established in 1986, the Maine Canoe Symposium is a volunteer-run, nonprofit weekend event held annually at Camp Winona on Moose Pond in Bridgton, Maine. The 715-kilometer (444-mile) wilderness adventure paddling race is held on the Yukon River from Whitehorse to Dawson City in Canada’s Yukon Territory. The YRQ is the world’s longest annual canoe and kayak race. It is known as the “Race to the Midnight Sun,” as paddlers race round-the-clock under a sky that never gets dark.
