The Otter is a narrow, light, and fast canoe that tracks beautifully. She has about 1" of tumblehome amidships, straight sides at the seats and is slightly flared at the ends with sharp entry lines. The bottom is fairly flat with very little rocker on the ends. She can be used as a small tandem canoe or a solo expedition canoe. Maximum carrying capacity is between 350 and 400 pounds. Standard construction includes #12 canvas, no keel or half ribs and two seats.
