With a shape similar to the Nitro but longer, the Blast allows expert partners to negotiate the most extreme rapids, waterfalls, and enter the tiniest of eddy pools. It has become a boat of choice for slalom paddlers. The Blast can be paddled solo too. Ideal for larger paddlers, or big volume rivers, the Blast remains a high-performance canoe.
This short, wide canoe is stable enough to "set the screws" to a 6 pound largemouth bass exploding on your top water frog or lay back and relax in as you watch a mid summer's night meteor shower. The slightly rockered bottom makes the Fisherman maneuverable, while the boat's shallow draft will get you into places other boats only desire to go.
Equipped with three web seats including a brace center seat, the Osprey 140 can be comfortably paddled tandem or solo. Built with the durable Royalex® construction, the Osprey has been put to the test by many avid paddlers. Its stable hull design can maneuver through the water with ease. The Osprey 140 includes oar sockets with oarlocks if you choose to row versus paddle. This versatile canoe is one you can enjoy for years.
The Sport 14 offers incredibly generous stability for fishing, hunting and bird watching thanks to its wide beam and flat bottom. Easy to lift and carry this roomy and compact canoe provides a solid platform designed for recreational activities.
The Vertige X was conceived for tandem paddlers looking for a special niche of Whitewater playboat. It is a lengthened and modified version of our popular Vertige. As a tandem, it is an efficient and easy-tracking craft that is more easily mastered than our more radical Blast. It is available with a 3 position saddle and transforms to an efficient solo.
The Camper 15 is a highly responsive boat that's easy to maneuver and built with added depth for an extra margin of security. This canoe is lightweight and versatile enough to explore backwaters and take a solo daytrip on local streams.
The Heron is a compact, maneuverable tandem canoe that answers all requests. It's the smallest tandem canoe in our General Touring family. Inexperienced paddlers like its stability, while adept paddlers appreciate its efficiency. Because of it's smaller size, the Heron is a practical boat for day trips on lake, while also performing well on smaller rivers and streams. Keep one at the cabin for the kids, or keep one for leisurely float trips down your favorite trout stream.
Our version is based on the Chestnut original with some improvements to increase speed and sea worthiness. It is ideally suited as a tandem day-tripper yet large enough for a weekend canoe trip. It really shines when paddled solo by a competent paddler. The Bob has a unique blend of characteristics that produce a canoe novice paddlers can enjoy yet experts can savour.
First born of the Esquif family, the Presage is distinguished by its maneuverability, its lightness and its durability on lakes and rivers. The most versatile of our models, it is suitable for recreational and wilderness paddling noted for its stability and speed. Its design guarantees that no matter which kind of water you prefer, the Presage is the ideal canoe for the whole family.
The Prospecteur is a classic design. The Esquif Prospecteur is based on the long-used canoe by the First Nations People using today’s materials and building technologies. Its arched bottom meets the freeboard with a soft, rounded chine giving the canoe exceptional glide and a reassuring feel.
This canoe has good flat-water speed yet handles predictably in all conditions. At 16’ it has length for tracking and moderate rocker at the ends; this makes for a very efficient tracking canoe yet maneuverable enough for constricted waterways, and whitewater. Ideal for day touring with plenty of carrying capacity for long trips and the seaworthiness to handle rough conditions.
The original Prospector was a river-running boat known as the work horse of the North. This proven down river hull is our version of the classic design, and the closest thing to the original that money can buy. It's a stable hull for rivers and streams - with ample rocker it's quick to turn. Because of the symmetrical shape of the hull, a solo paddler loaded with gear could make good progress by turning around in the bow seat and paddling it backward.
