The 15 is the choice of fishers and hunters, a perfect back-country boat. The flared Hull and moulded Spray Rail significantly improves its seaworthiness. The slight V-Hull design provides exceptional stability and a tracking quality that is not typical of shorter symmetrical canoes. The slight V also allows this shorter canoe to slice through chop with the efficiency of a longer hull. The moderate rocker and shorter length allow nimble movement and quick pivoting when the need arises.
Designed especially to maneuver easily, carry ample gear and run dry through lesser whitewater, such as rapids and riffles that are common on small winding rivers. Yet you'll be pleased with its performance on the lakes, as well. This Prospector is one-foot shorter and slightly wider than our Prospector 16. It has a steeply rockered hull for extreme maneuverability, extra depth for confidence, and plenty of stability.
In the Prospector 15 you can do anything, go anywhere. With one of the most versatile classic hull designs available, this canoe can be paddled solo or tandem. With stability, speed and maneuverability in all water conditions, when it comes to day tripping, this is a canoe you’ll never grow out of.
The Scout is the perfect solo canoe as well as being a responsive, compact tandem canoe. Designed to turn quickly and handle large waves, the Scout performs well on the river. Its sharp entry lines and good tracking ability make it versatile enough for lake canoeing as well. The shallow arc bottom and soft chine gives it great secondary stability.

The original Prospector was a river-running boat known as the work horse of the North. This proven down river hull is our version of the classic design, and the closest thing to the original that money can buy. It's a stable hull for rivers and streams - with ample rocker it's quick to turn. Because of the symmetrical shape of the hull, a solo paddler loaded with gear could make good progress by turning around in the bow seat and paddling it backward.
This boat does it all. A tandem canoe designed to perform well in whitewater and flatwater. Suitable for extended trips and up to class III whitewater. With deep ends and slight rocker, this boat paddles effortlessly loaded or unloaded. Can also be paddled solo.
Whether you plan to portage for weeks on end or just paddle around the lake by the cottage, the Prospector may be the only canoe you’ll ever want. An incredibly well rounded canoe, it has a symmetrical hull that provides the stability necessary for a novice, but also creates the feel that experienced canoeists love. The entry lines have been extended to improve speed, and the keel has been removed for extra manoeuvrability. Great for white water and lake tripping alike, we think it’s one of the most versatile you’ll find.
A short, responsive, yet fast tandem that's solo friendly. Redesigned in 2009, reshaping the bow and stern to improve efficiency, and adding more tumblehome to make solo paddling easier. A good fit for smaller paddlers, those who pack light, and people who prefer a shorter canoe. At 16'6" you can add a center seat to make it a maneuverable solo, as this is the most friendly length to switch between solo and tandem paddling.
At nearly 17 feet, the Discovery 169 is the longest in the Discovery series. Designed to go long distances, the Discovery 169 performs efficiently even when it is loaded with gear. The three layer construction is designed to take a beating. The Discovery 169 is a great choice for the recreational paddlers who may aspire to go longer distances or may need additional room and load capacity.
