Hi there, we just picked up this 17′ Aluminum flat bottom Canoe for $395. We took it out last weekend and it floats! Moves really well in even shallow water. Very stable as well!
I do have a question, does anyone know what Manufacture this is? The ID tag is gone. I’m guessing its older, the gentleman we bought this from seemed to have had it for years, possibly since it was new. I’m thinking its 80s. Anyway to tell what it is? Something distinct to look for?

Our plans for it are to repaint it with some rustoleum inside and out. I am going to mix in either sand or rubber shavings to give the floor grip when wet. The interior will be a light/medium gray and the exterior I’m thinking will be a medium/dark green. (Pine Green) as well as add some helpful extras to the inside, like Rod holders, and possibly some other tie-down points.
We plan to have an awesome time with this canoe for years to come!
