Hello, new here and hoping for some help with my canoe. I have done lots of research, but want to make sure I do this right.

The canoe is an older one, not even sure what year it was made. It’s a home made kevlar/fibreglass canoe. The gunnels were rotted so I removed them and have purchased new ones. I am going to re-paint it, but their is hairline cracks in the hull.

I have read some people use a dremmel and ream the cracks bigger, then fill with bondo. I was going to sand the hull with 220 then paint, sanding between coats.

My main question was how to deal with the cracks. Maybe they arnt a big deal and I can paint over?

I linked to a few photos, I have already pressure washed it, and exposed some of the old paint.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks
