Feature Story

mn_miniicon.gif Cook
Cook, located on Highway 53 near Lake Vermillion is a true Iron Range small town. But don’t be fooled by its charm, this bustling small town serves the cabin country community of the Iron Range and offers the most in full-services. It’s your last stop when headed to one of the seven entry points on the western side of the BWCAW and your best jump-off to paddle the Vermillion River. It’s also your best stop to fuel up and shop for provisions before heading to Voyageurs National Park–Crane Lake, Ash River or Kabetogama Lake Visitor Centers. Cook is an easy stop-over on your way into the wilderness, offering local points of interest and sight-seeing for you and your family.
